If I will be traveling outside of the Outer Banks please inquire about the travel fee.

Are there any additional hidden fees other than the price listed in you pricing section?
No.

Will I be provided with rights to make my own prints from the image disc?
Yes. With your digital files you will receive a letter giving you the rights for personal use. This means you are able to have your own prints and products made, share the pictures on social media, and use them on a personal blog or website.

What is your photography style?
A blend of candid photojournalism and timeless portraiture. I have a relaxed and unobtrusive approach that captures moments as they happen naturally, while still giving guidance when needed and setting aside time for guided portraits. I strive for your images to look bright and clean, with cheerful and romantic vibes. I love capturing emotion, and love capturing the beautiful scenic atmosphere where your wedding takes place.

What is the ideal time of day for portraits?
My favorite time of day is the last hour before sunset. The lighting is soft and even, the sky is beautiful, the shoreline is glowing, there are less people on the beach at that time, and the temperature is a little cooler in the summer months.

How much time should I book for my wedding day?
It really just depends on what you have planned for your day, how you want it to flow, and what you want captured. I am happy to talk through what you're planning specifically and help you figure out how much time will be needed.

How much time should I set aside for portraits?
I advise planning for a minimum of one hour for portraits. This time will include group pictures with family, wedding party portraits, and bride/groom portraits. For more specific advice for your photography timeline, please inquire.

Can you help me prepare for what to expect with my wedding day photography?
I’m happy to! Once you book, I will send you my Wedding Guide, which is full of information to help with your planning and tips that will allow me to provide you with the best experience and images possible. We will also discuss further details over the phone to make sure we are on the same page with what you want captured.
